Susan Mullie
Susan is a dedicated community volunteer who has served many organizations working to improve their communities.
In addition to her role on the board of CAHF, Susan has volunteered in several fitness-related roles, including as a longtime fitness instructor at the YWCA, as the Race Director of Calgary Women’s Run in support of women’s charities, and the Race Director of the Strathcona Tweedsmuir School Triathlon. She has also volunteered with Vestry Christ Church Calgary, Alter Guild Christ Church Calgary, been board chair and board member for the Board of Trinity Place Foundation of Alberta, and has been on the Board of the Parents Organization of Strathcona Tweedsmuir School, where she also managed the school’s retail store and more than 30 other parent volunteers.
Susan also had a career in retail brokerage, working at several firms, including Westfield Securities,Richardson Greenshields and Wood Gundy Inc.
She completed her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Acadia University and has also completed the Canadian Securities Course.
She has an active family life with her husband, and two adult sons and is an avid runner who has so far completed eight marathons, 30 half-marathons and countless other races.
