Stephanie Felesky
Stephanie Felesky is a dedicated community leader and volunteer who has provided her counsel and support to countless sectors in Calgary, Alberta and Canada.
In addition to her leadership on the CAHF board, she has served as co-chair of the Newborn Needs campaign with the Calgary Health Foundation, has served as Vice Chair and Governance Chair of the West Campus Development Trust, been a member of the Calgary Police Foundation and also participated in the Resolve Campaign Steering Committee.
She was a past director of Canexus, a publicly traded company on the TSX where she served as chair of the Human Resources committee. She was also past director of the National Board of the Institute of Corporate Directors as well as the Calgary Police Commission and was a founding Director of the Calgary Homeless Foundation.
She is a founding Chair of the Calgary Children’s initiative (now Upstart), past Chair of the Board of the United Way of Calgary, past Co Chair of the United Way Campaign and a past member of the Board of Governors of the University of Calgary. Also, she has served as past director of the Canada Lands Company, Star Choice Communications, Calgary Inc., and the Calgary Convention Centre Authority.
Stephanie received her Bachelor of Education with Distinction from the University of Calgary. She has received the National chair’s Award from the United Way of Canada and the Lifetime Philanthropist Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is a Member of the Order of Canada.
Stephanie has an Honourary Doctor of Laws (LL.D) from the University of Calgary and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
